Dr. S. K. Dhawan, M.Sc. Chemistry, Ph.D. is a renowned scientist. Dr. Dhawan was Ex-Chief Scientist & Professor AcSIR, CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi and Ex-Chairman, Solid Waste & Plastic Waste Management Group (CPCB). His core activity areas have been Conducting Polymers, Nano Composites, Smart Intelligent Coatings, Waste Management, EMI shielding & ESD. Dr. Dhawan received Outstanding Scientist Award in 2009 and DST - Lockheed Martin Innovation Award in 2014 for his innovation in Self-healing Coatings. Dr. Dhawan's innovation on Waste plastic management was selected in the Smart Fifty innovations by DST & IIM Kolkata in 2017. Dr. Dhawan received National Innovation Award in 2018 from National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) for Smart Materials. Dr. Dhawan ranked #34 in the top most Material Scientists of India in the survey conducted by Research.com for 2023.

He has also handled amalgamation and Income Tax cases of various companies independently.
